About Hectrolite Gel

Being a remarkable firm, we are bringing a vast variety of Hectrolite Gel. It is used in applications that require lighter color and to ensure a thermal stability. It is specially prepared dispersion of an organically modified hectorite in Hemisqualane (C13-15 Alkane). Apart from this, we provide a custom made choices to fulfil the varied needs of consumers. Hectrolite Gel is also known as Bentone gel. It is used to impart rheological control and in commercial applications such as ceramics, cosmetics, coatings etc.

C13-C15 Alkane, Disteardimonum Hectorite, Alcohol

It is greasy opaque compound comprises of waxes , isododecane ,hectrolite clay and compounds for give rheological properties to the mixture and final product.

Hectrolite Gel is a specially prepared dispersion of an organically modified hectorite in Hemisqualane (C13-15 Alkane) commonly also known as Bentone gel. Hectrolite Gel delivers a combination of benefits in a single, easy to use product. It is designed to impart rheological control and suspension properties to emulsion and anhydrous products.

HECTROLITE GEL is a specially prepared dispersion of a non-animal origin organically modified hectorite in Isododecane. This grade is designed to impart rheological control and suspension to organic-and silicone-based cosmetics. HECTROLITE GEL is also particularly useful in emulsions and can be used in "cold process" systems. It provides thermostable viscosity control of the emulsion's oil phase, improves application properties, enhances skin-feel by masking greasy or tacky components and imparts a pleasant residual silkiness to the skin. HECTROLITE GEL is an alternative to traditional polymer or cellulose-based thickeners for stabilizing emulsions.

Versatile Industrial Applications

Hectrolite Gel, also known as Hectorite Gel, is valued for its adaptability across several industries. Its gel form enhances its function as a catalyst carrier or adsorbent in chemical processes, while its non-reactive and high-purity properties make it suitable for cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, and paints. It is also essential in oil drilling operations, providing stability and performance under various operational conditions.

Stringent Quality and Safe Handling

Produced to industrial-grade standards, Hectrolite Gel ensures maximum purity and consistency. The product is tasteless, odorless, and non-poisonous, ensuring safety during handling. With a moisture content below 10%, it retains its semi-solid viscous form throughout its 12-month shelf life when stored as recommended. Its physical stability and insolubility in water make it an excellent choice for various technical requirements.

FAQ's of Hectrolite Gel:

Q: How should Hectrolite Gel be stored to maintain its quality?

A: Hectrolite Gel should be kept in a dry place and stored in its original HDPE bag or drum packaging to prevent moisture exposure. Proper storage helps preserve its semi-solid texture and ensures the product remains effective for up to 12 months.

Q: What are the primary industrial uses of Hectrolite Gel?

A: Hectrolite Gel is commonly used as a catalyst carrier, adsorbent, and stabilizer in various industries. Specific applications include cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, paints, and oil drilling due to its chemical stability, high viscosity, and insolubility in water.

Q: When is Hectrolite Gel most beneficial for industrial processes?

A: It is most beneficial when a high-purity, non-reactive mineral gel is required to enhance process stability, improve adsorption, or act as a carrier for catalysts during chemical reactions in industrial operations.

Q: Where is Hectrolite Gel typically sourced or supplied?

A: Hectrolite Gel is manufactured and distributed throughout India by reputable suppliers, manufacturers, and traders specializing in industrial-grade mineral products.

Q: What is the process for utilizing Hectrolite Gel in oil drilling or paint production?

A: In oil drilling, Hectrolite Gel is introduced as a stabilizing agent in drilling fluids to control viscosity and filtration. In paints, it serves as a thickener or stabilizer to maintain texture and pigment dispersion.

Q: Can Hectrolite Gel provide any specific benefits within cosmetic or pharmaceutical formulations?

A: Yes, due to its purity, inertness, and gel consistency, Hectrolite Gel acts as a suspending, thickening, and stabilizing agent in cosmetic and pharmaceutical products, enhancing product texture without altering scent or taste.
